Christmas!
What a fabulous end to Autumn Term and also to 2022. We did not let the heavy snowfall get in the way of the Kestrel Christmas celebrations. The week was full with activities, from a Santa’s Grotto to a festive whole school assembly. We reached out to Crouch End Picture House Cinema and booked in for a private autism friendly screening of The Grinch for our learners, which was so special. This is an activity we have not been able to do since pre-covid, so being able to take our learners back to this space and enabling them to experience a cinema was incredibly important for our parents and us. We also provided a special Christmas magician for our learners who performed magic tricks and sensory games with the learners. Pimlico class even made a little trip to Costa for festive hot chocolates and cookies. It was a special end to the term and got everyone in the mood for the holidays!
